The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests.
The Forest Management certification valuates forests or woodlands to determine if they are being managed according to an agreed set of standards - the FSC Principles of Responsible Forest Management.
In order to sell products as FSC Certified, producers must also obtain FSC Chain of Custody Certification.
