As an ANSI Accredited Standards Developer, GEI establishes acceptable indoor air standards for indoor products, environments, and buildings. GEI currently has three third-party certification programs:
- for Indoor Air Quality (low emitting interior building materials, furnishings, and finish systems);
-for Children & Schools (low emitting interior building materials, furnishings, and finish systems used in schools);
- for Building Construction (newly constructed multifamily and commercial properties)
